All wine traded on WineBourse is stored in bond in UK and European Bonded Warehouses. Our Sellers can sell their wines from their own private or corporate bonded warehouse accounts or they can sell from their WineCustody account, which is provided as part of your registration on WineBourse.
You can set up your Bonded Accounts under Settings — Accounts on the My WineBourse menu. We will use your Bonded Account number if you want wine transferred to you after completing a purchase.
If you want to sell wine from your Bonded Account, then you must provide us with a Stock Report. This gives us traceability to your wine, although you must provide instruction your warehouse to transfer your wine upon trade confirmation.
All Bonded Warehouses can provide a Stock Report upon request. For your convenience, you can even request for WineBourse to be added to the email distribution list for your Stock Report on a periodic basis, like daily or weekly for example.
Once your Stock Report is loaded into WineBourse, then you can offer these wines for sale. You will have the added benefit on using our Portfolio Management module then also.
Should you decide to store your wines with WineCustody, you will not be required to provide a Stock Report to sell your wines, as WineBourse will have access to the required data in this case.
